German football giants, Borussia Dortmund have signed a licensing contract with Pro Evolution Soccer. This will help to make PES 2017 more realistic. This has added to PES’s newly licensed teams, namely: Atlético Madrid, Arsenal FC, FC Barcelona, Liverpool FC, and now, Borussia Dortmund.
This development means that the Signal Iduna Park (Borussia Dortmund’s stadium) and Dortmund’s anthem will now be exclusive to PES.
Konami has stated that although the recreation of the Signal Iduna Park in the game is still in progress, it will be released in a Datapack prior to the release of PES 2017 in September.
This development will deal a huge blow to FIFA since PES now has the exclusive rights to make a 3D scan of Dortmund’s players.
