To make PES more realistic, Konami has announced a licensing deal with the Argentinian League. To this effect, all clubs in the league will now be officially licensed in the game.
This means that all club jerseys, names and stadium will be represented in the game. Players who are fans of teams like Boca Juniors, River Plate and Newell’s Old Boys will now enjoy playing as their favourite team
PES, which will be released on the 13th and 15th of September (in the Americas and Europe respectively), has gained licensing for many clubs this summer. This will help the game to gain more popularity and will also go a long way in making the game more realistic and increasing Konami’s sales.
PES’s rivals, FIFA, on the other hand, are counting on their new engine and story mode to become the better soccer simulation game this year.
